The Index of Scientific Names is a database of plant names (including genus names, species epithets, and infraspecific epithets) and details of the associated papers that have been published in the Acta Phytotaxonomica Sinica. The data in the index come from the indices of scientific names to each volume appeared in the last issue of Acta Phytotaxonomica Sinica . Now detailed information about these indices to volumes 40, 41, and 42 is available through the links provided. Records from other volumes will be added to the database gradually. To help readers get more information about the plant searched in the index, associated common names both in Chinese and in English, as well as some related pictures, are planned to be added to the database in the near future.
