Chirita tribracteata var. zhuana Z. Y. Li, Q. Xing & Y. B. Li (Gesneriaceae), a new variety from Guangxi, China

Abstract: Chirita tribracteata W. T. Wang var. zhuana Z. Y. Li, Q. Xing & Y. B. Li, a new variety of the Gesneriaceae from Guangxi, China, is described. The variety is different from the typical one by having larger and thicker leaves with crenate or dentate margin, broadly winged petioles, broad-obovate or oblanceolate and serrate bracts, and lilac corollas with longitudinal yellow stripes in the throat.
