Abstract: Based on the study of specimens and living plants cultivated in the botanical garden, and field investigation, a taxonomical revision of four taxa in the genus Paris L. was made. Paris polyphylla Smith var. minora S. F. Wang and P. polyphylla Smith var. pseudothibetica H. Li were reduced as new synonyms of P. delavayi Franch., P. polyphylla Smith var. kwantungensis (R. H. Miau) S. C. Chen & S. Y. Liang was reduced as a new synonym of P. polyphylla Smith; P. wenxianensis Z. X. Peng & R. N. Zhao as new synonym of P.
